Programs and services

KAEOP awards a scholarship each year to a qualified high school student. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school student who plans to attend college and major in Business or a related field. The scholarship winner will be invited to participate in the KAEOP annual Bosses' Luncheon held in the spring of each year. The award certificate will be presented to the scholarship winner at the luncheon. The actual scholarship award will be given to the recipient when proof of enrollment in a college is received.

Students submitting an application packet must include 1) an official school transcript, 2) two letters of reference from high school, and 3) a short biography (minimum of 100 words) highlighting their extra-curricular activities and detailing their future plans.  KAEOP selects an Administrator of the Year and an Educational Office Professional of the Year. The recipients of the awards are announced at our annual Bosses Luncheon in April. Those selected by KAEOP are also eligible to be nominated for the same awards from NAEOP. 

 KAEOP We would like to invite the students at your school/district to participate in the annual poster contest, sponsored by the Kern Association of Educational Office Professionals. The contest theme is "What I Like Best About My School." This contest will challenge the students in grades K-5 to design a poster, possibly win a cash prize, and acknowledge your school.
